Semi-OT: excessive waste

To keep things short, an ISO audit is due in the coming days and now management is harping on us to organize tools. Not so crazy, but they everything to have a specific compartment. We run alot of odd jobs that require very different and diverse drills and forms. Now, we don't have room in the tool chest to give everything its own place, so now we have been told to just throw shit out...


Over100lb of tooling...it just grinds me. Such wastefullness. Alot of this stuff can easily be reground or repurposed but they don't care for some reason. I just feel ashamed scrapping perfectly good tooling...
